Data Controller

For all our services, ChiroVibe and Dr Michael Lezuo are the data controllers as registered and stated by the Information Commissioner Office (ICO). To provide you with quality healthcare, we enter into a professional agreement with you, which includes the need to store and process your personal data. Although we may have reason to contact you via phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email you will always have the right to opt out of these communications.

Use of Your Information

By becoming a client of ChiroVibe and visiting our clinics (at site or mobile), you consent to our processing of your personal (and/or your pets information) information. This consent forms the legal basis for our data processing activities. We use your information to:

  • Share confidential medical information (in house, but in case of emergency with other qualified health care practitioners; for your pet with your vet if requested by them)

  • Remind you of upcoming appointments (via SMS, WhatsApp, calls and/or email)

  • Keep you informed with relevant news and updates

  • Provide you with information to further your knowledge of your body, your pets body and health in general

  • To correct any inaccurate information we hold about you

  • To request that we delete information we hold about you

Confidentiality

We adhere to the guidelines set by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) regarding the sharing of your information with other medical or relevant health professionals. We will always seek your written consent before sharing any records, notes, x-rays, or personal information. Retention of Your Information

By law, we are required to keep your personal information for up to seven years from the date of your last visit. To keep your information current, you can update it any time you visit our clinics. We securely store your data using the software ‘PracticeHub’, accessible only via password-protected access by our data controllers or processors. This data is stored on servers within the EU.
